Scroll down for English! And photos :3
Htjede raditi svoje kompjuterske igre, pa naučiše programirati u tada popularnom QBasicu i Visual Basicu, a pošto htjede imati svoj web, naučiše i osnove HTML-a, CSS-a i Javascript-a.
2022. godine otvara svoj obrt. Povremeno volontira, sudjelovaše u organizaciji Transpozija, Prvog balkanskog trans-inter marša i drugih događaja. Svira za svoju dušu i stalno nešto izrađuje za svoje potrebe.
And now in English...
(en) Throughout their life, they were driven by curiosity, so in kindergarten they would take apart various electronic devices to see “what was inside”, in elementary school they would edit their own photocopied newspaper in A5 format (at that time they didn’t know about the term “zine”) in which they would publish short texts from their classmates. They had their own website (as a 12 year old in the early 2000s, the beginnings of the internet), and also did light shows for school dances.
They attended music school, but more than piano and classical music they liked playing Beatles and Abba songs on a Casio synthesizer. They liked to acquire new knowledge, so while other children played hide and seek, they would read encyclopedias and professional books. They wanted to make their own computer games, so they learned to program in the then popular QBasic and Visual Basic, and since they wanted to have their own website, they also learned the basics of HTML, CSS and Javascript. They also attended programming competitions, where they won 3rd and 5th prizes, and a review of IT works with an interactive virtual walk around the school created in Flash.
They were also involved in video recording with an analog camera on Hi-8 tapes, so they convinced their parents to get them a video capture card so that they could edit videos and do chroma key effects. So, for the school day, they recorded a short show with their peers on a "virtual set" that they modeled in 3D Studio Max.
They had a dream of achieving a goal, but after successfully achieving the goal, they would lose interest and move on to the next exciting challenge. They were interested in everything except studying and doing homework. Much later, in the last year of college, they found out that (quite expectedly) they had ADHD. They got their master's degree in speech therapy at ERF (University in Zagreb), worked in an elementary school, and after that they enrolled in the Academy of Music in Zagreb and completed 3 years of singing and an audio production module (minor study). They performed in demanding solo roles in operas and musicals, of which it is worth highlighting “Cosi fan tutte” at the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb and “Amelija ide na ples” at the Mala Scena theatre in Zagreb. They studied at the Berlin Academy Summer School and performed as a soloist with the Prussian Chamber Orchestra. Due to their struggle with anxiety, they could not continue their solo career, so they worked for 2 years in the HRT choir and for a year in the Komedija theatre choir.
Over the years, they began to engage in video production more seriously, recording classical music concerts, theatre performances and other events, and then they also threw themselves into live streaming. In 2022, they opened their own business. They occasionally volunteer, participated in the organization of Transposium, the First Balkan Trans-Inter March and other events in the queer and neurodivergent community. They play music and constantly create something, for the fun of it.
